And the angel said, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb.”  And he added, “These are true words that come from God.”  Then I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he said, “No, don’t worship me.  For I am a servant of God, just like you and other brothers and sisters who testify of their faith in Jesus.  Worship God.  For the essence of prophecy is to give a clear witness for Jesus.” Revelation

Don’t let anyone declare you lost when you refuse to worship angels, as they say you must. Colossians

Continue to love each other with true brotherly love.  Don’t forget to be kind to strangers, for some who have done this have entertained angels without realizing it! Hebrews

But God condemned them long ago and their destruction is on the way.  For God did not spare even the angels who sinned, but threw them into hell, chained in gloomy caves of darkness until the Judgment Day. 2 Peter

The night before he was to be executed, he was asleep, double-chained between two soldiers with others standing guard before the prison gate, when suddenly there was a light in the cell and an Angel of the Lord stood beside Peter!  The angel slapped him on the side to awaken him and said, “Quick!  Get up!”  And the chains fell off his wrists!  Then the angel told him, “Get dressed and put on your shoes.” And he did.  “Now put on your coat and follow me!” the angel ordered. Acts

Early on Sunday morning, as the new day was dawning, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went out to the tomb.  Suddenly there was a great earthquake; for an Angel of the Lord came down from heaven and rolled aside the stone and sat on it.  His face shone like lightning and his clothing was a brilliant white.  The guards shook with fear when they saw him, and fell into a dead faint. Matthew

“Put away your sword,” Jesus told him.  “Those using swords will get killed.  Don’t you realize that I could ask my Father for thousands of angels to protect us, and He would send them instantly?  But if I did, how would the scriptures be fulfilled that describe what is happening now?” Matthew

Then the angel spoke to the women.  “Don’t be frightened!” he said.  “I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified, but He isn’t here!  For He has come back to life again, just as He said He would.  Come in and see where His body was lying ...  And now, go quickly and tell His disciples that He has risen from the dead, and that He is going to Galilee to meet them there.  That is my message to them.” Matthew

When the apostles were with Jesus, they kept asking Him, “Lord, are You going to free Israel now and restore our kingdom?”  “The Father sets those dates,” He replied.  “And they are not for you to know.  But when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, you will receive power and will tell people about Me everywhere in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

It was not long after He said this that He was taken up into the sky while they were watching, and disappeared into a cloud.  As they were straining their eyes to see Him, two white-robed men suddenly stood there among them.  They said, “Men of Galilee, why are you standing here staring at the sky?  Jesus has been taken away from you into heaven.  And someday, just as you saw Him go, He will return!” Acts
